Port Blair, June 13: Continuing its commitment to serve the society and with an aim to reach out to the distressed households, the Samastha Kendra Sunni Students Federation (SKSSF) under “Feed the Needy” campaign conducted a one day one time Free Food Distribution programme on Sunday, 13th June, 2021 covering areas of Haddo, Delanipur, Lillypur, Aberdeen Bazar Junglighat and Bhatubasti. More than 500 packets of food boxes were prepared and delivered at the doorstep of severely needy, daily wage earners and laborers.
Mr. Hari Kallikkat, IAS, SDM, South Andaman district along with Ms. Yasashwini, IAS, AC(U/T) graced the event and distributed food packets to the needy. The organization also provided fruits to the inmates of Child Care Institutions – Pranab Kanya Sangh in Delanipur and Seva Niketan in Dairy Farm.
The active volunteers of Port Blair branch of SKSSF took active part in the campaign.
