Social Worker distributes vegetable Items to the needy

Port Blair, May 30: Amidst the crisis of the pandemic, it has become very difficult for some people to get two meals a day due to the Lockdown and no livelihood. With the noble intention of helping those in need, Mr. V K Abdul Aziz, Social Worker of Brindaban Panchayat , Mathura and nearby village provided a pack containing vegetables like Potatoes, Onion, green vegetable & green chili to around 90 needy families on 29.05.2021. During the distribution of relief packets, the safety standards issued by the government were kept in full consideration.

Mr Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner (SA) along with Mr. Hari Kallikkat, SDM(SA), Miss Yashaswini B, IAS, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Tehsildar Ferrargunj, Mr. Mohammed Samir, SHO Bambooflat were present on the spot and witnessed the whole program.

Mr Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner ( SA) appealed to the general public for their support and requested them to stay home for the safety of their family and society at large and also sought their co-operation in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
