South Andaman Mahila Congress unveiled its new logo & flag

Port Blair, Sept 26: The All India Mahila Congress crossed another milestone by launching its new logo & flag. The new logo and flag was launched by Mr. Rahul Gandhi on the 38th foundation day event of All India Mahila Congress held at New Delhi on Wednesday

As part of this, a programme was organized by South Andaman Mahila Congress under the direction of All India Mahila Congress, leadership of ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder and guidance of ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. G. Bhasker at Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair in order to unveil the new logo and flag.

The South Andaman Mahila Congress team was led by South Andaman Mahila Coordinator Smt. Zubaida Begum. The new insignia and flag was unveiled by Senior Congress leader & AICC member Smt. Shanta Laxman Singh in the presence of several Mahila Congress leaders and workers.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Zubaida Begum said that “the new insignia symbolises the strength of unity among women and it also gives the message of increasing the participation of women in the party and the country. She thanked the party high command for including the hand symbol of the Congress party in the new logo”.
