Port Blair, Sept 12: Mr. M.A Sajid, State President of NSUI A&N Islands is on a two-day visit to Delhi for attending the NSUI National Executive Meet “Sankalp”. The National Executive Meet commenced on Saturday at NSUI National Headquarters. It began with the hoisting of National flag followed by National Anthem.
The first day was set aside to discuss as well as manifest the works done by NSUI in the past one year amidst the global pandemic. The first day went well under the kind presence of respectable dignitaries like Lok Sabha MP and Former Congress President Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Mr. K.C Venugopal, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda, Rajya Sabha MP & Congress Delhi-incharge Mr. Shaktisinh Gohil and NSUI members including the National President, State Presidents together with National Secretaries participated in meeting.
Mr. Rahul Gandhi and Mr. K.C Venugopal personally interacted with Mr. M.A Sajid and asked about the status of Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) and also about the higher educational problems faced by students in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Mr. Rahul Gandhi addressed the meet and praised all the NSUI members for their great job during the COVID-19 period. Furthermore, he guided them to always work for the country’s welfare.
