Port Blair, Aug 18: In order to effectively implement the lockdown from tomorrow to 25 Aug 2020 some transport restrictions shall come into effect in the Port Blair and Ferrargunj Tehsils under South Andaman District with effect from the midnight of 18.08.2020 till the midnight of 25.08.2020.
The restrictions are services of all Stage carriage buses (STS and Private) shall remain suspended during this period; Services of Passenger Autorickshaws, Taxis and Jeeps shall remain suspended during this period.
However, for the transport of employees working in the Departments involved in essential services, bus service would be provided on the request of concerned departments.
