Port Blair, May 31: State Control Room, Directorate of Disaster Management, A&N Administration issued a Weather warning over the A&N Islands received from IMD Kolkata.
It is informed that on 01st and 02nd June 2022, heavy rain (7-11 cm) is likely to occur over Nicobar Islands and thunderstorms and lightning with gusty wind (30-40 kmph) at one or two places over A&N Islands.
On 03rd and 04th June 2022, heavy rain (7-11 cm) is likely to occur over with thunderstorms and lightning with gusty wind (40-50 kmph) at one or two places over A&N Islands.
Due to squally weather with wind speed exceeding 45 kmph likely to prevail over Andaman Sea and A&N Islands, Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea during 02nd to 04th June 2022.
No Port Warning was issues.
