Port Blair, Apr 08: India Tourism Port Blair in Association with Andaman Association Of Tour Operators has started a workshop on Saathi and SOPs for Hospitality Staff of the islands. The inaugural programme began today at Hotel Pallika Palace, Delanipur.
Altogether 25 Participants from various hotels participated in today’s programme. Mr. M.Vinod, President, Aato welcomed the guests and participants Ms/Moutoshi Naskar, Asst. Director, India Tourism, MR. Aditya Verma, Hotel Management Graduate,Saikat Biswas,Ex -Service man And Adventure Sports Expert, briefed the participants about Hospitality industry and Covid Precautions.
In this context all the Hoteliers who want to get their Staff to be trained are requested to contact India Tourism Office, Junglighat or Office of Aato, Junglighat. As this programme will continue on regular basis all the participants will be provided a certificate of participation by India Tourism.
Mr. M. Vinod, thanked India Tourism for taking this initiative which will definitely help the staffs of Hospitality industry to gain some valuable information to develop their skills.
