Port Blair, Mar 01: In view of the attacks on the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, specially students in some part of the country, in the aftermath of Pulwama Terror attack of 14/02/2019 an advisory was issued to all States and UTs by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India to take necessary steps to ensure safety and security of the persons belonging to Jammu & Kashmir.
Andaman Nicobar Police is committed to ensuring security of residents of J&K residing in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Superintendent of Police, South Andaman has been appointed as Nodal Officer in this matter. Any complaints related to attack on or harassment of the residents of J&K can be filed at the nearest Police Station.
