Port Blair, Jan.23: Andaman & Nicobar Police celebrated Police Week from 16th to 23rd January, 2019. Various activities were organized in the India Reserve Battalion also as part of the celebrations. An Ayurveda Health Check-up Camp was organized for the families of battalion staff. Also, a “Seminar on Mother Name & Bird Watching” was held for the school children.
Annual Athletic Meet – 2019 was organized in the Battalion campus from 19th January, 2019. In this Athletic Meet, Police personnel from all the units & district of A&N Police participated in large members. The closing ceremony of it was held on 22nd January, 2019, in which DGP, A&N Islands was the Chief Guest. Bada Khana for the Battalion staff was also organized in the campus in which the DGP, IGsP and other senior officers of A&N Police & Battalion were present.
