Port Blair, Dec 03: During interaction of the Media with the Lt. Governor on 14.11.2018 at Raj Niwas, some of the media persons raised the issue of closing down of analog transmitters in the Islands w.e.f. 18.11.2018.
The matter was taken up with the concerned authorities to continue with the analog transmission till establishing of the digital transmitters. Accordingly the scheduled closure of the analog transmitters has been deferred and presently the same is continuing.
