Port Blair, Jan 13: To honour the selfless devotion and sacrifices of the veterans of the Armed Forces and to mark the Armed Force Veteran’s Day, Andaman &Nicobar Command (ANC) will organise a Multispecialty Health camp, on 14 January at INHS Dhanvantari from 0800-1300hrs.
During the camp, veterans will be screened for lifestyle and degenerative diseases like Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Osteoporosis, Cataractetc. A Help Desk for the Veteran’s to resolve issues pertaining to pensions, ECHS and canteen facilities will also be set up at INHS Dhanvantari, as said in a press release by Nilesh Kumar Kalbhor IIS, Deputy Director (M&C), PIB Port Blair
