ANIPPDA Organises Multi-Speciality Health Camp at PHC Manglutan

Port Blair, Dec 17: A Multi-speciality Health camp was held on 16th December, 2018 at PHC Manglutan by A & N Islands Private Practicing Doctors Association (ANIPPDA) in co-ordination with Rotary Club of Port Blair with the logistics, infrastructure and manpower support by Directorate of Health Services. Dr. A.P Bharadwaj, Pediatrician; Dr. Tamalika Bharadwaj, General Physician; Dr. Arun Gynecologist; Dr. Vidyanand, Laproscopic Surgeon; Dr. Shirin, Homeo-Physician; Dr. Snehesh, Dental Surgeon rendered their service.
59 patients took benefits during the camp, free medicines/samples were also provided during the health camp. Dr. S.P Burma, Director of Health Services visited the camp site and said “This kind of camp will definitely benefit the poor sections of the society who cannot afford to go to private clinic/hospitals due to various reasons, it is indeed a great opportunity for the people of rural area. Such camps should be conducted frequently for the benefit of the rural populace as a part of social responsibility”.
This is the ninth project of ANIPPDA, Dr. Rajeev and Dr. Shivangi Lal Medical officers of PHC Manglutan were also present to support it. Mr. Rajesh Anand, President of Rotary Club of Port Blair said that he will conduct free health camp in Middle Andaman (rural area) in the future and Club’s main objective is to undertake measure for improvement of public health by organizing such camps.
