Port Blair, Mar 15: A 05 day Annual Community Living Camp for the academic session 2018-19 of TGCE which was scheduled from 11-03-2019 in the college campus of TGCE has reached to the conclusion today, on 15th March-2019.
Last day of the camp as usual started with the Physical Exercises. Theme of the day was “SWACHH DWEEP HAMARA DWEEP”. The resource person Mr. Uma Mahesh, Junior Engineer, PBMC conducted a lecture-cum-demonstration on Waste Management which was followed by another lecture-cum-demonstration on Heath and Personnel Hygiene by Mr. Suresh Rao, from DHS Office.
In the afternoon session, beach cleaning was also done by the campers of this college. The Camp came to an end with Camp-fire followed by colourful cultural programmes. Altogether 122 campers completed their 05 day Annual Community Living Camp successfully, which was an important component of teacher training progamme, said Dr. J.D. Singh, Principal in a press release.
