Port Blair, Apr 21: The Anthropology Museum (near Bengali club) is modernizing its galleries with the display of Human origin and Human Evolution. Yesterday the museum added few new display panels as part of its new gallery “Human Evolution” like Geological Time Scale, million years of human existence, man’s place in animal kingdom, human journey and major changes in human (changes in brain and skull), human migration and ANSI research in DNA laboratory for explaining human Migration.
This new look will be helpful for the tourist as well as school & college going students for understanding the origins and evolutionary journey of Human Being, Superintending Anthropologist (Cultural), Anthropological Survey of India, A&N Regional Centre said in the press release.
