Port Blair, Feb 20: As a part of awareness programme on AYUSH Health camp by District Hospital, Garacharma various AYUSH awareness activities was organized on 19th Feb,2019 at sub-centre, Beodnabad, South Andaman, in which the general public along with Senior citizens participated in large number. Smti. V. Shanti, Pradhan, Beodnabad Gram Panchayat, the Chief Guest, appreciated the initiative and as per the policy of Govt. of India the integrated AYUSH systems of treatment along with modern medicine are reaching each and every door to door and appealed public to take maximum benefit of the AYUSH scheme. Dr. Sabita Biswas, Medical Officer (Homoeo) of District Hospital, Garacharma treated more than thirty six (36) patients. The yoga instructor Shri. Guna Sekher briefed benefits of Yoga to all. Smti. Laxmi Rani Roy, Community Health Officer of District Hospital, Garacharma delivered speeches on the importance personal hygiene in daily life and also delivered ote of thanks. Refreshment were also distributed during the programme.
