Port Blair, Dec 21: Mr. Anadiranjan Biswas, Editor of ‘BAAKPROTIMA’, the only RNI-registered Bengali Little Magazine/Periodical published from Andaman & Nicobar Islands has been invited to the International Bengali Literary Festival 2019, to be held on 18th, 19th & 20th January 2019 in Haldia Township, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal.
This glorious festival organized annually is considered as the largest literary event (in non-Govt. sector) of the country – where almost 500 poets, litterateurs, critics, singers, recites of India, Bangladesh and other overseas countries present their works in Bengali language in different sessions of the festivity. Earlier, the name of this event was ‘International Bengali Poetry Festival’. From this year, the name of the event has been changed slightly by the organizers.
Mr. Anadiranjan Biswas, Editor, Baakprotima has been participating in this prestigious event regularly for last 10 (ten) years i.e. from its inaugural edition.
