Port Blair, Nov 27: In order to give impetus and popularisethe sea journey between Port Blair and Baratang, the existing schedule of speed boat plying between Port Blair- Baratang- Havelock – Baratang – Port Blair Sector has been reviewed by the Andaman & Nicobar Administration and accordingly , the itinerary and timing has been amended for the convenience of the visiting tourists. The new amended schedule for the itinerary between Port Blair- Baratang- Havelock – Port Blair is as follows :-
Sector – Port Blair – Baratang- Havelock – Port Blair
Port Arrival time Departure time
Port Blair — 0600 Hrs
Baratang 0900 Hrs 1330 Hrs
Havelock 1530 Hrs 1600 Hrs
Port Blair 1815 Hrs —
In addition to the above, the Andaman & Nicobar Administration has also revised and reduced the fare structure for Non –Islanders visiting the above itinerary .The fares for Non-Islanders for the above sector are as under :-

“The above schedule will be implemented with effect from 01.12.2018 and Advance Reservation of tickets for the above service will be available for 30 days. The intending commuters can purchase advance tickets for the above schedule from theTicketing Counter of Department of I P&T, Port Blair. Remaining tickets if any, shall however be issued from the STARS Ticketing Counters, two days prior to sailing of the vessel. The General Public as well as Tourists are requested to avail this opportunity,” a release said.
