Port Blair, Sept 29: PRI Members, workers of Betapur Range office and volunteers of Shivapuram Gram panchayat collectively made a beach clean drive at Dhaninallah beach, Betapur in Middle Andaman region. Mr. Lorentos Bara, Pradhan Shivapuram told that in this drive they have been collected 28 kg plastic waste from Dhaninallah beach. Thereafter they disposed off all these plastic waste. Mr. Awanish Kumar,IAS, DC N&M Andaman appreciated the volunteers, forest officials and PRI Members of Shivapuram GP. DC urged all the fellow citizen of this district to come forward willingly and to make their surrounding areas neat and clean to make our environment a paradise. He further added that if in this way every citizen realizes their responsibility of cleanliness then the dream of Gandhiji and the endeavour our Govt. will come true.
