Port Blair, Jun 10: All the beneficiaries availing various financial assistances from the Department of Social Welfare i.e. Old Age Pension, Disability Allowance, Widow Pension and Destitute Allowances are required to submit their life certificate every year. The Department may not be in a position to release further pension, if life certificate is not submitted in time. All the beneficiaries are therefore requested to submit their life certificate for release of their monthly assistance timely. Accordingly all beneficiaries can obtain the life certificate from the office of the Directorate of Social Welfare, Office of the CDPOs and Mukhya Sevika.
The last date of the submission of the life certificate is 30/06/2019 failing which their financial assistance will be kept in abeyance until submission of life certificate, a release from Director (SW) said.
