Port Blair, Sept 25: On the occasion of World Tourism Day, 2018 the Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with Directorate of the Tourism organized the “Bird Watch Tour” on today the 25th September, 2018, at Chidiyatapu Biological Park. 30 students of 1st year BBA (Tourism) from JNRM College and faculty members Mr. P. Abdul Salam & Mr. Seemanta K. Deka attended the Bird Watch Tour. They could watch 25 different species of Birds spotted through Binocular and special session was taken to adopt Bird Watch as a Tourism Profession. The Participants were provided Booklet of Birds of A&N Islands & refreshments. All assistance were provided by the Forest Department and the Andaman Avians Club. Mr. Arun Singh, Secretary, ACCI Youth Wing Committee coordinated the event which was very successful.
