Port Blair, July 4: The Govt. of India, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi has reserved seats under Central Pool Nomination in MD (Ayurveda/Unani/Siddha and Homeopathy) courses for the session 2019-20 for the States/UTs where no MD/PG facilities are available.As per the guidelines for Central Government Nomination (CGN) to MD (Ayurveda/ Unani/Siddha and Homeopathy) Courses for the session 2019-20, all applications for nomination to MD/PG courses for the academic session 2019-20 of Government Teachers/ Medical Officers (Doctors)/ Research Officers, who are not subject to any entrance test as per provision at point 1.4 of the Scheme Guidelines, are to forwarded to the Ministry. Applications of other candidates (Private) from the deficient States/UTs may be forwarded to the concerned Institutes directly for admission and under no circumstances to this Ministry.The Ministry further informed that all the State/UT Govts./Administrations including concerned 7 institutions (donors), where Central Pool seats are reserved for deficient States/ UTs candidates may follow the introduction of the single window entrance examination- AIAPGET for admission to AYUSH MD/MS PG courses for all private candidates of deficient States/UTS. These private candidates shall also have to obtain qualifying marks obtained by them in the entrance test (AIAPGET-2019) and have to apply to the concerned institute for admission. The institute shall prepare a separate merit list for such candidates sponsored by the deficient States/UTs and shall admit against the vacant seats available, if any, after admitting the Central Govt. Nominees (CGN), getting proper direction this effect from the Ministry. The eligible interested candidates of A & N Islands are advised to download the Application Form from the website of the Ministry i.e. www.ayush.gov.in and submit the duly filled-in application form along with essential documents to the Assistant Secretary (Health), Medical & Public Health Section, Secretariat, Port Blair-744101 latest by 10thJuly, 2019 upto 5.00 PM.Further details in this regard can be obtained from the Ministry’s website or from the Medical & Public Health Section, Secretariat, Port Blair.
