Port Blair, Feb 07: Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (CGWWA) in coordination with Dr. Bhima Rao Ambedkar Polytechnic Institute conducted a drive on “SAY NO TO PLASTIC” on 06 Feb 19. A brief presentation for college students on disadvantages of using polythene and advantage of 3R’s (Recycle, Reuse and Reduce) was given.
Mrs. Mohita Pathak, President Tatrakshika (A&N) along with CGWWA committee members distributed cloth bags to students to accelerate the use of cloth bags for daily use.
