Port Blair, Sept 05: On Sunday, 26th August 2018, Avinash Social & Cultural Society held a Grand fund raising Charity Concert for Kerala Flood Relief. It was a packed house at Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Auditorium, PBMC and the audience thoroughly enjoyed an amazing evening of musical entertainment.
Mrs. Neha Bansal (IAS) Secretary Art & Culture, Dr. Navlendra Kumar Singh Director Art & Culture and Dr. Rashida Iqbal Asst. Director Art & Culture were also present there to grace the evening.
The band thanked the dignitaries for their precious time and support of
all the wonderful audience of the night for their love and support as well as for coming forward to help, donate and share their love towards the victims of Kerala flood. A sum of Rs. 40,000 was donated towards the cause.
The minds behind the concert, Mrs. Sarala & Mr. D.Appa Rao thanked the singers and musicians from Sargam Band, Kolkata, all the sponsors and to the singers and musicians of Avinash orchestra, Avinash, Priya, Santosh, Raj, Sajid, Tarannum, Kishorie, Nisar, Abu, Ansar Ali, Nirmal, Niaz, Vishal, Ajitesh, Akash, Salman and Sahil for their hardwork and performances.
