Port Blair, Dec 13: The Principal, Staff and Trainees of Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair deeply mourn the sad and untimely demise of Mr. I.P. Gupta, Former Lt. Governor of A&N Islands on 13/12/2018 in Delhi. A condolence meeting was held on this occasion in the Tagore Auditorium during which the Principal, Staff and Trainees of the College paid their respectful homage to the departed soul and observed two-minute silence. The Principal in his brief address, narrated the contribution of Mr. Gupta in the development of these islands in general and the development of the College in particular. A slide show was also presented to remember his contribution to this College.
The College family in a condolence message conveyed their heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed the almighty to bear the irreparable loss, as communicated by Principal, TGCE in a press note.
