Port Blair, Dec 18: On receipt of continuous phone calls and joint representations from the individuals who are not listed in the select list for appointment of PSTs, despite having the merit position as alleged by the them, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, MP had immediately taken up the matter with the Secretary Education in written besides discussion over phone seeking for review of the issue of the select list and appointments of PSTs in Education. Smt. Rupa Ray wife of Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, MP has also met with the Director Education and appraised him about the displeasures of candidates over the select list of PSTs.
After having discussed with the Secretary & Director Education, it has been assured that the department will re- examine the entire issues in reference to the representations received from the individual and from the MP. If any errors appeared, the same will be rectified immediately and communicated to the individual concerned, a communication received from Office Secretary, MP Office said.
