Port Blair, Dec 23: The Corporation has started supply of toned milk to bulk milk purchasers like hotels and institutions in cans w.e.f 01.12.2018 in order to discourage use of plastic packaging material.
The Corporation will be offering discount of Rs. 1/- per litre to all hotels/ institutions buying toned milk in cans for a period of three months i.e. from 01.01.2019 to 31.03.2019.
The Corporation requests all the bulk milk purchasers to purchase of toned milk in cans to reduce consumption of plastic packaging material.
