Port Blair, May 03: The District Administration of South Andaman has been Govt. Revenue Land persistently continues unabated despite various hurdles and will continue till completion of removal of such structures from Government Revenue Land.
In its determination for slashing the list of encroachers, and to bring to closer unlawful activities, teams have been constituted for various locations of Port Blair Tehsil to bring the Government land back to it’s original shape.
On 3rd May 2019 the teams have removed about 21 encroachments from various parts of Port Blair Tehsil, and shall seriously involved in preventing the scourge of encroachments. The eviction of illegal structures in the form of RCC buildings, Tin Hutments, sheds and fencings from continue the same till completion of the removal of the encroachers from the Government land.
All those involved in encouraging infringement and carrying out encroachment over Government land are hereby cautioned to abstain from such acts, this is being also communicated to all, If anyone involves himself or herself in disobeying or obstructs the eviction teams, action as deemed fit under relevant law shall be taken against him/her and stern action shall also be initiated against them immediately said Tehsildar, Port Blair in a press release.
