e-Governance Service Users Requested to Provide Online Feedback for NeSDA Survey

Port Blair, May 2: The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions is undertaking a study namely National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) which will be used to assess and benchmark e-government development and public service delivery efficiency in India at State/UT level.

The overall goal of the study is to promote participation of all Departments and Ministries at State/UT and central level to adopt the e-government framework in their day-to-day   functioning to reinforce Minimum Government and Maximum Governance.

This assessment  framework will be used as a benchmarking tool to evaluate common services provided to citizens (G2C), business users (G2B) and government (G2G) departments under focus sectors of Finance, Labour & Employment, Education, Social Welfare (including Health & Agriculture), Local Govt. & utilities and Environment.

The purpose of this survey is to capture insight on the citizens’ experience in availing e-services from their respective States/UTs. Accurate and relevant data from citizens and the meaningful analysis of the same will help States/UTs to chart a course for the future and improve e-service delivery.

This survey would take 4-6 minutes (approximately) to complete. All the members of general public and businesses availing the services pertaining to various Departments of A & N Administration have been requested to take up the survey and submit their feedback by accessing the url https;//www.nesdaportal.in/survey/public/.

Further, Government Departments and VLEs of Common Service Centres across A&N Islands have also been requested to encourage people to provide their feedback at the above portal so that the vision of NeSDA survey is achieved. The online survey is open till 15th May 2019.
