Port Blair, Feb 27: Considering the enthusiasm of the general public of Andaman and Nicobar Islands who turned out in quite significant numbers during the special camp held on 23rd (Saturday) and 24th February, 2019 (Sunday) for enrolment of hitherto unenrolled eligible voters, the office of the Returning Officer, ANIPC will be conducting 02 days Enrolment Camp on coming Saturday and Sunday i.e on 2nd & 3rd March, 2019 for enrolment of left out eligible voters. During the enrolment camp, all the BLOs has been directed to be present at the respective Polling Stations from 8.30 AM to 6.00 PM. Further BLO – Supervisors and Sector Magistrates have also been directed to pay regular visit to the Polling Stations and ensure maximum assistance to the new electors coming for enrolment. All the Divyangs in the respective Polling Stations will also be marked in the electoral roll during the camp. People already registered in the roll can check their names in the electoral roll available with the BLO at the respective polling stations.
During the enrolment camp, people can fill Form – 6 for addition, Form – 7 for deletion, Form – 8 for correction and Form-8A for transposition and submit it to the BLO. All the residents of A&N Islands who are yet to get registered in the electoral roll are once again appealed to get themselves registered at their nearest Polling Stations during the scheduled camp.
