Port Blair, Nov 27: The Revenue Department South Andaman District carried out eviction drive against encroachments committed over Government land at Haddo village under Port Blair Tehsil upon land bearing Survey No. 172 area 1441 Sqmtrs, which was set apart in favor of District Administration, South Andaman. During the drive temporary structures in the shape of ghumties, food stalls were removed and the land was restored to its original status.
District Administration, South Andaman requests the General Public to refrain from encroachment on government land.
