Port Blair, Sept 05: In the election of 26th Works Committee of Saw Mill Division Chatham held in the department of Environment and Forest, A&N Islands on 28th August , 2019, The Forest Labour Union affiliated to INTUC defeated Forest Mazdoor Sangh affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh by wining all 10 seats. On the occasion of the victory, while addressing the workers, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament and President of INTUC and the Union expressed that it is because of the faith of workers in the ideology of the INTUC, our Union could win all 10 seats and it will always be the endeavor of the Forest Labour Union and INTUC to work for the welfare and common cause of the workers.
