Port Blair, Sept 04: In the fore noon of 3rd September,2018, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M.P in presence Mr. Indrapal Singh, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council and Smti S.Usha, Councilor, Municipal Ward No.16 laid the foundation stone for construction of Anganwadi Center’s Building at Old Phargaon(Municipal War No.16) with the estimated cost of Rs:33,10,642/- under MPLAD fund.
In the afternoon of same day i.e. on 3rd September,2018, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M.P in presence Smti Farida Bibi, Adhyaksha Zillaparishad, Mr. Udit Prakash, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District, Mr. E. Somesh Rao, Pradhan, Bambooflat-I, Mr. J. Hemanth Raor, Pradhan, Shore Point, and PRI members of the respective areas has laid the foundation stone for construction of Anganwadi Center’s Building, at Medical Pahad, near the Community Hall of Ward No.7,Bambooflat with the estimated cost of Rs: 32,27,936/- under PMLAD fund.
The general public of the respective locality and the parents of small children attached to the Anganwadi Centers have expressed their gratitude to Mr. B.P.Ray, M.P. for his commitments for betterment of Anganwadi Center.
