Port Blair, May 20: A Dental Camp was organized by Rotary Club of Port Blair at Panchayat Hall, Long Island on 17th May,2019.
President Rotary Club Mr. Rajesh Anand and Past President Dinakaran took special initiative to conduct the camp in Long Island wherein Dr.Snehesh, Dental Surgeon & Past President Dr. Dinesh, Dental Surgeon examined 31 patients.
The main objective of the camp was to provide basic dental health education and motivate about oral hygiene prophylaxis.
Free medicines were given to patients and minor treatments were done at the camp site itself.
Mr. Kamaraj, Pradhan Long Island said more such camps in future would benefit the poor patients, who cannot afford to travel to Port Blair. Rtn. Amar Gupta, treasurer of the club was also present along with supporting staff for the smooth conduct of the dental camp.
