Port Blair, Oct 03: Along with rest part of India the Pradesh Congress Committee, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has also observed “Gandhi Jayanthi”, the Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation and the Birth anniversary of late Lal Bahadur Shastri, former Prime Minister of India at Gandhi Bhavan at 7.30 AM today the 2nd October, 2018. Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, PCC President, all leaders of Congress party & its frontal organizations and the general public attended the function have paid floral tribute to the portraits of Mahatama Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Bharat Ratna Kamraj, whose death anniversary falls on this day, was also remembered during the occasion.
