Port Blair, Apr 03: ‘Gandhi Global Family (Women) A & N Islands Chapter’ conducted an awareness programme on environment for the students of Ummat Public School Austinabad were Mr. Ayyub Hassan, Divisional Forest Officer was the Chief Guest.
On behalf of GGF team Mrs. Shaima Shamim welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Anuradha Lall President GGF (W) motivated the students on Gandhian Ideologies.
The programme was further followed by planting 21 trees by students under the guidance of the team headed by Forest Ranger Mr. S.K.Roy and Ummat faculty.
