I extend my warmest greetings and good wishes to the islanders on the auspicious occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra, a chariot festival. The spirit of give up self consciousness and service to mankind is the essence of this holy chariot festival. We must gain motivation from the celebrations and endeavor to foster universal brotherhood . I pray, “May Lord Jagannath shower his blessings on all the islanders for their overall developments, good health, and peace and take these islands to new heights of progress.”
