Port Blair, Feb 06: The delegation of Hindu Jagaran Manch today met the Secretary (Education) Mr. D. Manikandan and submitted memorandum for changing the date of Katchara Utsav which was decided on 10th February 2019 and Vasanth Panchami is on the same which is celebrated in all educational institutions as Sarawati Pooja.
The Secretary reportedly conveyed the decision that Katchara Utsav will be celebrated on 15th Feb instead of 10 Feb 2019.The Hindu Jagaran Manch expressed their sincere gratitude to the Secretary (Education) for safeguarding the sentiments of students, parents and teacher
