IGNOU Class on Gyan Darshan TV Channel

Port Blair, Jan 23: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) uses the Educational TV channel of India (free- to- air TV channel) namely Gyan Darshan-2 for teaching of its students, across the country and globe. One such interactive Tele-class on the topic: “Evaluation of Information Sciences” for BLIS/MLIS students will be conducted on Thursday, 24th January, 2019 during 3-3.30 pm by Professor Jaideep Sharma and Dr. Archana Shukla, School of Social Sciences, IGNOU, New Delhi. The students can view interactive tele-class at their residence, by selecting Gyan Darshan-2 channel in cable network. The Gyan Darshan-2 TV channel is readily available under Doordarshan TV channels (Channel No.36) in Andaman Cable Network. Students can interact with resource persons/teachers in real time (instantly) by dialing; 011-29532844, 29532845 or Toll free no.1800112345. The BLIS/MLIS students are invited to IGNOU, Regional Centre, to attend the tele-class at RC office between3-3.30 pm. Students of other universities can also attend the tele-class. A communication from Regional Director, IGNOU, Regional Centre, Port Blair said.
