Port Blair, June 06: As summer vacation activity for School Children, the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Regional Centre, Port Blair is organizing a Summer Camp on Saturday, 8th June, 2019 (10.30 AM to 12.30 PM). During the Summer Camp, the awareness about Open and Distance Learning System will be created among the School Children, especially for 9th to 12th class. boys and girls. The participation in the camp is free- of -cost. The camp will have Power Point Presentation, Video, Lecture on self-learning methods, Display Boards, and demonstration of self- learning material in print, Text CD Audio/Video CD, Gyandarshan TV.
The main objective of the camp is to sensitize the school children to know more about higher educational opportunities in Open and Distance Learning Education in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. All the school children and parents are invited to attend the summer camp to get educational benefit.
