Port Blair, Sept 09: The A & N State Social Welfare Board, Port Blair Implemented one month Skill Development training programme under House Keeping Services in assistance with National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development, Port Blair. The main objective of the programme was to empowering the youths of school & college dropouts.
The training started from 04/7/2018 and completed on 10/8/2018 at A&N Social Welfare Board. The placement programme was organized on 05/09/2018 and many of candidates was selected to work in different Hotels. Further the valedictory of the programme is Proposed to be held on 10/9/2018 at 10.30 A.M. at Moksha Conference Hall, Seashell Hotel, Marine Hill, port Blair, in the occasion the certificate will be distributed to the candidates.
Mr. D.Manikandan, IAS, Secretary(SW), A&N Administration , Port Blair has consented to deliver the Chief Guest address. In the occasion Dr. Poonam Arora, Chairperson, A&N Social Welfare Board will deliver the welcome address followed by address by Dr.Navlendra Kumar Singh, Director(SW), A&N Administration & Mr. BVS Prasad, General Manager/OIC, NABARD, A&N Islands, Port Blair.
