Port Blair, Jan 08: Mrs. Neha Bhatt, an entrepreneur who makes handcrafted soaps and shampoo & conditioning bar under the brand ‘Cosmic Island’, only from indigenous raw materials of the islands has won the coveted ‘National Entrepreneurship Award-2018’ instituted by The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on the 4th January, 2019 in a glittering ceremony at New Delhi from Mr. Suresh Prabhhu, Minister of Commerce, Industry & Civil Aviation, in the presence of Mr. Anantkumar Hedge, Minister of State MSDE.
Neha runs her now award winning enterprise at Attam Pahar with her husband Rahul Gandhi, who is a hospitality industry consultant and French Teacher. Her already popular ranges of products are available at selected stores (Mubarak Hypermarket, S-Mart, Freggie Mart, Seven Heaven, Barefoot Resort & Amazon.in) in the islands. Neha is indeed and inspiration for aspiring young entrepreneurs.
