Jolly meets Home Minister, demands Domicile

Port Blair, Sept 10: Four days after the massive dharna organized by residents of Andaman and Nicobar Islands demanding Inner Line Permit and Domicile, the president of BJP’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Vishal Jolly today met the Home Minister of India, Mr. Rajnath Singh at New Delhi and demanded domicile and 100 percent job reservation for Islanders in Andaman.
During the meeting Mr. Jolly urged the Home Minister to implement Domicile certificate in A&N Islands, ensure 100 percent reservation to Island youths in government jobs and to implement the National Register of Citizen (NRC) in A&N Islands to stop the population influx, Mr. Nand Kishor Singh, the State Convener of A& N BJP unit’s media cell informed media today.
As per details Mr. Jolly also discussed about the ongoing developmental works in Andaman and Nicobar islands and required.
On 6th September 2018, Joint Action Forum (JAF) supported by various organizations in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, successfully organised 24 hour long massive Bandh, demanding Inner Line Permit to stop influx of Bangladeshi population.
