Low pressure area over Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal

Port Blair, Nov 08: A low pressure has formed over Gulf of Thailand and adjoining Malay peninsula and associated cyclonic circulation extending upto mid tropospheric level. It is very likely to emerge into Andaman sea and become more marked during next 24 hours. It is likely to move west-northwest wards and concentrate into a depression during subsequent 24 hours.
The Sea conditions will be rough to very rough over Andaman sea, southeast and east-central Bay of Bengal and along & off Andaman & Nicobar coast during 09.11.18 to 11.11.18.
Fishermen who are in deep sea are advised to return to the coast by 08th November evening and advised not to venture into Andaman sea and adjoining Southeast & East-central Bay of Bengal from the morning of 09th to 11th November’2018.
