Port Blair, Mar 27: Lieutenant General PS Rajeshwar, AVSM, VSM, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to Chairman Chief of Staff Committee (CISC) arrived at Port Blair today on a three day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC). Lt Gen PS Rajeshwar is accompanied by the President of Defence Wives Welfare Association, Integrated Defence Staff (IDS)
On his arrival to Headquarter ANC, the CISC interacted with Vice Admiral Bimal Verma, AVSM, ADC, Commander-in-Chief Andaman and Nicobar Command (CINCAN). He was briefed on the operational aspects of the Command.
During his tour, the General Officer will be visiting Army, Navy and Air Force establishments at Campbell Bay, Kamorta, Car Nicobar and Shibpur besides Port Blair. He will also be interacting with personnel during his visit to various units across Andaman and Nicobar Command.
