Port Blair, Mar 15: On 15/03/2019 at 1000 hrs. a meeting was held in the Conference Hall of District Headquarter along with the hoteliers, guest house, lodges etc. in connection with submission of Form-C and Security issues. Mr. Manoj C., IPS, SP (CID/FRO) chaired the meeting. Mr. Ajay Rai, Dy SP (Immigration) welcomed the participant and Police officer, SHO PS Aberdeen, Pahargoan, Chatham and Inspr. Special Branch (CID). 58 Hotel owners within Port Blair jurisdiction attended the meeting.
Mr. Manoj C., IPS SP (CID/FRO) emphasised about the importance of Form-C submission Online/Offline to monitor the movements of foreign tourist arriving in A & N Islands. He also stressed upon the national security and highlighted the recent border tension. He advised all hoteliers, guesthouse and home stay etc. to check the ID of all customers before renting the rooms. He suggested that CCTV camera with recording facilities should be installed at all hotels etc. and suspicious persons and unattended baggage/object if seen should be informed to local Police/CID staff immediately.
