Port Blair July 09: A Community Hall constructed by Zilla Parishad, South Andaman under MPLAD fund at Mazar Pahar, Valluvar Nagar, Bambooflat was inaugurated on 7th July 2019 by Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament.
In his address the, Chief Guest lauded the effort of Zilla Parishad in constructing the much needed facility in a record time. He also stated that the shrine could be converted into tourist destination simultaneously developing the adjacent areas with
facilities of tourist interests. Mr. M.K Sundaram, ZPM in his welcome address dwelt on details of construction. Ms. V.K Mariyam Bibi, ZPM in her address requested for creating some additional facilities at the place. The Programme was presided over by Mr. Sanjib Kumar Mandal, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, who in his address reaffirmed constructive development of rural areas of South Andaman. The function was attended amongst others by Mr. M.T Hussain, President Rehmania Masjid Committee, Bambooflat. The Secretary, Rehmania Masjid Committee proposed the vote of thanks.
