September 15th is celebrated every year in India as Engineers’ Day to commemorate the birthday of the legendary engineer and statesman Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
I am glad that the vibrant local unit – the Andaman & Nicobar State Centre of The Institution of Engineers (India) – is celebrating the 51st Engineers’ Day and deliberating its theme – “Digital Transformation: A New Industrial Revolution” in detail. We have a collective responsibility to ensure that engineers become ready to face the growing and ever changing need of development.
I extend my warm wishes to the engineering fraternity of these Islands on the 51st Engineers’ Day.
