Port Blair, Jun 11: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament met Director General of Police, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Dependra Pathak today on 11th June, 2019 and expressed serious concern of the society on easy availability of the illegal and banned drugs particularly Ganja in these islands. He stated that the worst effected section of society by this social evil are the younger generation. There are instances when the worried parents of these innocent young islanders trapped by the drugs have approached him to take up the issue with the higher authorities so that lives and future of their children are saved.
