Diglipur, Nov 23: On 07/11/18 Mahesh Yadav, SHO Diglipur received reliable information that some persons are indulged in gambling near Laxmipur Forest Nursery. Upon this a Police team headed by SI Roshan George, PC’s Akash Ch. Bepari, Bijoy Kr. Das, Manoj Bakhla, Sushil Sarkar, Uttam Kr. Sarkar, Manoranjan Das and HG Saraswati Sarkar was constituted and immediately rushed to the spot and raided the place and found few persons were playing cards and indulged in gambling. The police party surrounded the area and while nabbing them the gamblers tried to flee away from the spot but the attentive police personnel grabbed all the 09 gamblers namely 1) Ranjit Sarkar 2) BalaiDutta 3) Arun Mondal 4) AbhiramDhali 5) Laxman Mondal 6) Panchanan Sarkar 7) Bikash Mondal 8) BiswanathDakua all R/o Laxmipur and 9) Prem Kumar Bairagi R/o Milangram. They were searched and recovered the board money of Rs. 10,020/- from their possession. The entire operation was commanded by Insp. Mahesh Yadav, SHO PS Diglipur and the same was supervised by Mr. Sukant S. Ballab, SDPO Diglipur under the overall supervision of Mr. Ingit Pratap Singh, IPS, SP (D) N&MA.
