Port Blair, Sept 11: As part of the National Nutrition Programme, a “Nutrition and Hygiene Awareness Rally” was organized for the students of GMS Kinmai, Car Nicobar.
Throughout the rally, the students held banners and placards and chanted slogans on various aspects of nutrition, health and hygiene in both Nicobaries and Hindi. Earlier Headmaster (i/c) of the school Mr. Leonard John administered a pledge to the students. In his address to the students, he said that nutrition is the focal point of health and well being a nation. He further appealed to the students to adopt healthy eating habits
